Tiger - 2024

In response to the 'Neon Dreams' exhibition by Chila Burman at the Holburne Museum, Maya undertook a captivating community project for the Festival of Light celebrations in October 2024. Commissioned to engage a small group of young adults, Maya led the design and construction of a striking life size tiger lantern. This ambitious creation served as a dynamic dialogue with Burman's neon-infused world, translating its bold energy into a large-scale, illuminated sculptural form. This collaborative project contributed a vibrant focal point to the festival, embodying the spirit of community and creative response to contemporary art."
