Govandi Arts Festival Mumbai - 2023

In 2023, for the inaugural Govandi Arts Festival in Mumbai, India, working alongside Lamplighters Arts CIC, in collaboration with Community Design Agency, and Streets Reimagined to bring a unique vision to life. A residency working hand-in-hand with the local community facilitating the creation of vibrant, site-specific processional lanterns, ranging from grand to intimate in scale. These illuminated artworks, bursting with the creative spirit of Govandi residents, became a spectacular highlight of the festival. A magnificent procession and a proud contribution to the British Council's UK/India Together Season of Culture.
