Bath International Music Festival: 1999 - 2006

During a formative period in her early community arts career, Maya designed and facilitated the creation of processional structures and costumes for the opening night of the Bath International Music Festival. Working within schools and community settings, transforming recycled and natural materials into imaginative forms that animated the city's celebratory atmosphere. These early experiences were instrumental in shaping her approach to collaborative art and the dynamic energy of public processions.
