Sunblock Festival - 1999

Maya’s first major commission- a 20-meter long dragon, meticulously crafted from hazel willow and tissue paper. This magnificent beast served as both a colossal illuminated lantern and an impromptu performance space, becoming a dazzling centerpiece for the Sunblock Festival eclipse celebration in Cornwall.
