Living Willow Dome - 2015

Commission to build a living willow dome, exceeding conventional scales, Maya utilized an ingenious temporary framework of tent poles to provide an initial armature for training young living willow. Over several years, this ambitious project unfolded as the willow gracefully matured, eventually weaving into a self-sustaining, organic structure.
