For over three decades Glastonbury Festival has served as a significant canvas for my creative projects. While countless stories could be shared, I'll focus here on most recent endeavor for a specific stage, where my work encompasses the design and creation of immersive décor and backstage installations, weaving an enchanting and unforgettable atmosphere for performers and backstage crew alike. 2024’s transformation embraced the whimsical charm of the 'Magic Roundabout,' with larger-than-life illuminated sculptures featuring the beloved characters from the iconic children's show. Ambient additions such as stylised trees and oversized flowers were integrated into the décor. Zebedee, the magical jack-in-the-box, took a prominent position suspended from the ceiling, while patchwork lampshades and large, hanging flower lanterns added a further touch of playful enchantment to the overall scene.
